Booking & Check-In -
  • How do I confirm a booking?

    A 25% advance booking amount is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival.

  • What are your payment methods?

    We accept all major credit cards, cash, and UPI (popular Indian payment app) for your convenience.

  • What is the minimum age requirement?

    Guests must be 18 years or older to stay at the hostel

  • Can I guarantee a specific dorm for my group?

    Dorm assignments depend on availability at the time of check-in.

  • What identification do I need at check-in?

    All guests need to present a valid government photo ID with address proof. This can be your Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport. Foreign guests must show their original Visa and Passport.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in time is 12:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am.

  • Can I check-in early or check-out late?

    Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

Policies & Regulations -
  • What is your policy on alcohol and drugs?

    We strictly prohibit alcohol and illegal substances on the premises. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas

  • Do you offer room service?

    Currently, we don't offer room service.

  • Can I have visitors in my room/dorm or common areas?

    For security reasons, only registered guests are allowed in rooms, dorms, and common areas except for the cafeteria, which is open to all

  • Are pets allowed?

    While we love our furry friends, The Trippy Tribe is currently not pet-friendly.

  • What happens if a guest misbehaves?

    We expect all guests to be respectful of others and the property. The hostel reserves the right to take appropriate action, including immediate eviction without a refund, for inappropriate behavior.

  • Do you have quiet hours?

    Yes, we observe quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM to respect our neighbors in the Bir Tibetan Society.

  • Is The Trippy Tribe suitable for families?

    While we love all kinds of travelers, our lively atmosphere is best suited for young backpackers. We recommend exploring other options for family getaways.

  • Is there Wi-Fi access?

    Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the hostel.

  • Are my belongings safe?

    While we take security measures, the hostel cannot be held responsible for lost luggage or belongings.

  • Do you offer extra mattresses?

    Extra mattresses are available for an additional charge

  • Is there power backup in the rooms?

    Power backup is currently available only in the common areas.

  • What happens if I damage the property?

    Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the hostel property.

  • Is there a reception or staff available 24/7?

    Yes, our friendly staff is available 24/7 to assist you with any questions or needs.

  • Are lockers provided for storing valuables, and do I need to bring my own lock?

    We provide lockers for your valuables, so you don't need to bring your own lock.

  • Is parking available nearby, and is it free?

    Free parking is available at most of our locations. However, in Kasol, parking availability is limited and may not be guaranteed. We recommend contacting the hostel directly for the latest information on parking options at your chosen location.

  • Are there laundry facilities available, and if so, what are the costs?

    Unfortunately, laundry facilities are not currently available at our hostels. However, we can recommend nearby laundry services upon request.

  • Is there a minimum or maximum length of stay?

    There is no minimum or maximum length of stay at The Trippy Tribe.
