Bir is a small hamlet in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, District Kangra. The Bir Tibetan Colony, established in the early 1960s as a camp for Tibetan exiles following the 1959 Tibetan rebellion, is located there and serves as the national paragliding centre of India.
Billing is the highest paragliding take-off spot in Asia and 2nd highest in the world.

Located in the foothills of The Himalayas, the location is less than a km from the Bir landing side. Our neighbours include the famous Deer Park and all the popular cafes such as The Himalayan Cafe, Eva's cafe, Musafir Cafe, June 16 cafe to name a few.
We also provision paragliding bookings to ensure you have a hassle free stay. At times we also arrange the treks to hidden gems so if you are lucky you would also witness the mesmerizing beauty of places which only the locals know about.
We have spacious and beautifully designed dorm rooms for mixed as well as solo female travellers. The area is bigger than most dorm rooms and it also comes with a bed side light to make your midnight reading experience more enriching.

Bir is a town colored with magnificent monasteries and temples, which offers a perfect hideout for nomads and travellers. Amazing value for price. Location is good as well. Moreover, the common area has a great ambience. The food is very delicious and the staff is cordial and helpful. A great experience all round. Definitely recommend!

A nice place with an even nicer host !! You can get scooty,bike or paragliding pickup arranged for yourself from this place. Just tell them what you want and they will get it for you.

Awesome vibe, friendly staff, safe for solo traveller too, economical... And best part is every night there is bonfire with live singer with guitar. Food is tasty. If you are planning for paragliding then you must stay here they arrange paragliding also... And it's walkable distance from paragliding landing site.

Warm, caring, and welcoming hosts. They organized various games and events throughout our stay.They helped in booking cabs, paragliding and also recommend places to visit.Food at the place is delicious.Well maintained property which is at close proximity to cafes/market/landing site @Bir.

he stay was great. The place was clean and the host, Prince bhaiya was very nice and helpful. He arranged everything the we needed. They even had bonfire and jam session for us where all the travellers were able to communicate with each other.
